These prices are for the classic style with a simple background. If you want detailed scenery in the background an additional amount will be added in the quote stage after a discussion of what you want in the painting. Prices include 1-2 hour photo session with your pet(s) at home.

Portraits can be done using pre-existing photographs for a $50.00 reduction in total cost if they are of good quality for painting detail & composition (to be determined by the artist). If more than a full-day travel (round trip) by car from Seattle is required for a photo session, additional travel expenses will be quoted before an agreement on total cost. Susan usually travels to the Madison, WI, or Palm Springs, CA, area once or twice a year. Photo sessions could be scheduled for those times and no additional travel costs would be necessary. Time needed for a completed commission is one year due to the technique used and the required drying time before the necessary final varnishes. Time required may be less if work schedule allows.
